Thanks to you guys for answering. I'm baffled as within 24 hours of starting this thread, my LC2 started working again. So, not sure why it malfunctioned but overjoyed at it's return to life.

I'll never know why!

The fact that the touch system and the light is working means that most of the LC2 is functioning properly. The problem is with the IR interface and it sounds as if the small circular PCB might be faulty. This is readily replaceable and you should be able to get a new board from your local B&O dealer. The new board is relatively inexpensive, cost me A$45, which is around 25 quid. If you really want to get that LC2 working again, I would have a look at that option.

Regards

When you press 'light' twice I take it the light you are controlling doesn't come on at full brightness either? I was thinking you may have to reprogram the light picture for that that particular light, but if pressing 'light' twice on the Beo4 doesn't do anything then the problem clealy is more serious. But I suspect you may have already thought that!

Sorry I can't be of any more help.

I've got a room full of LC2's which I use with a 'picture' setting as well as being able to alter individual lamps. Recently, one LC2 stopped working with Beo4 and will only respond by touching the globe to increase/decrease light.

Is this something that is fixable or will I just have to put up with it.

Thanks for any help on this.
