Yes you need the MLGW.

A 'simple' accessory that would receive the signals from the B&O iPod app and convert these to those compatable with B&O products would be nice, but I suppose this is what the MLGW does! I know little or nothing about the MLGW other than its price, so can't comment further.

No idea as I still have all my B&O in storage :( Believe it needs MLG to do anything

I think it just depends where you put your finger, it seems the sensitive zone is a bit off to the top left of the icon. If you click on the icon in the center exactly it does not work all the time.

I was unable to get it to work but managed it by pressing i whilst holding the settings button down

Thanks Stefan, if I press 'Settings' it turns blue and I can access the settings menus. After pressing 'Done' and returning to the main page pressing 'i' does nothing, it doesn't change colour and nothing happens.

A 'Searching...' message is constantly displayed above 'the 'Settings' box and that's about it!

Thanks for the somewhat sardonic response which I shall take as trying to be helpful.

Astonishingly, I've tried the advanced technique of pressing the 'i' icon! The 'settings' box works, but as I said in my post nothing else seems to happening only the 'searching' message.

I will delete the app and download it again to see what happens.

Can I only use my iPhone / iPod as a better / worth (?) remote control.

Or can I play the music stored on my iPod via Master-Gateway on my Bang&Olufsen music systems?

That realy would be an advantage.
