I think that you are going to have fun re-cabling the LC1. It would be good if you could post the results of your efforts, particularly, the lead lengths and the cable type that you were able to use. The external diameter of the cable on my box is between 7.5 and 8mm which seems to be rather heavy for a 300W lamp. You might have more success with the re-wiring job if you use a slightly lighter mains cable. Let us know how you get on.

Regards

This is not an easy cabling job, I couldn’t even get enough opening space to take some decent photos. Even identifying the pin connections was difficult to see. However, I do have the following information for you:

Pin 3 – Neutral out

Pin 2 – Neutral in

Pin 5 – Active in

Pin ? – Active out

I assume that the last pin is Pin 4 in your listing, it is on the left of the large coil when you view the coil in the 12 o clock position. The active and neutral leads are side by side, and on the same side. The output leads are nearest the coil.

The cable grounds are joined under the base plate.

Have fun with this wiring job, sorry I cannot give you any lead lengths to work with but I daren’t take it apart. There is hardly any free space to work with and hard enough to get the base plate back in position. The photos below might give you some clues

Good luck

Just managed to have an LC1 light control without any cable connected on it. I really look forward to use it with my Beo4 remote.

Anyone has an ideea how to connect it to a lamp?

I have 4 connections on the back ( P2, P5, P4,P3) but no diagram!

Any help will be greatly appreciated...

Thanks
