I think I allready tried this, but still the clock goes away when power off and is not there when you power on again. You then hace to find "clock" in the list menue on Beo4 again. I would have liked it to be as on MK I/II where the clock was default displayed after power on.

The functionality requires entering the customer service menu, and be aware that this is on your own risk.

Enter menu and choose adjustments, then set the Clock timeout to 0 and the clock will always be displayed untill you press clock again.

Enjoy

Apparently B&O has concluded, that the clock function is not a wise feature on this tv, because then you are easily able to count the minutes it takes for the TV to start up, OR the hours it takes for the EPG to work :-)

I had a Mk3 Bv 7-40 and found that the Clock could not be made to stay on all the time, which was a shame and there is nothing in the Mk3 Menu to let you do that either!

Looks like it was only the old Mk I Bv 7-40 that you could display the clock full time!

Show clock on BV7-40 MK-IV

Hi There,

I have just repleced my BV7-40 MK-I with a BV7-40 MK-IV.

On my old MK-I I could configure it to show the time in the red vertical display at all time. No nned to select clock + GO on the remote.

I can't find the same setting on my new BV7-40 MK-IV. The closet I can find is to set "clock display" to 0 in customer service menu then it don't time-out after the default 10s. but I still have to select Clock + GO on the remote each time I switch on the TV if I want to have the time shoed in the now white vertical display.

Anoone knows if there is a way to show the clock permenat as on the MK-I?

Regards,

Ken
