So would I. Like the Geneva Sound System or the Bose Sound Dock 10. If it had this, I would buy it, and if it could link to my imac like it had an inbuilt airport express.

Probably not. Decoding MP3 without any hardware support takes quite a bit of processing power, and there's no reason the current BS1 would have a processor capable of doing it.

I currently use the AUX input to play my i touch. My wish would be o make the CD player mp3 enabled. Seems to me that a software upgrade can accomplish this, rather than a hardware upgrade

BS 1 has aux in. It is hidden under a cover, you can access it by pushing the << and >> button together , or maybe it was |< and >|

That thing is actually one of the better products in my opinion.

I would like a BS1 with AUX and Masterlink. Would be a nice Linkroom device

It looks like B&O is now aiming for more new product launches, rather than upgrading the present range, which I regret; so that means that most probably the BeoSound 1 you're looking for is actually going to be the forthcoming audio product (code A21) which will be a lower-spec' BeoSound 5 in terms of features, and an all in one (plug & play) BeoSound like BS1 (which is now 10 years old).

Is there a place where B&O users can post the top ten wish list for the B&O to consider. It will be cool if I can get the Beosound 1 firmware upgraded to play mp3's - just a simple wish
