I agree with Craig, you should go for one of the newer models in the 7xxx series as they have better connectivity. You cannot listen to the tuner on a BC7000 without physically unplugging the CD player (or any other device) from the tape socket at the front and ecventually the socket wears out.

If you are thinking of a BC7000 try to find a BC7700. Think this is the best oneof the 7XXX series.

Well I posted a video about laserdiscs and other obsolete video formats and I decided to follow up by buying one. It was eBay item 220576167813 and it was a player and a good collection of discs for an unbelieveble £71. Seriously, amazing deal.

Anyway, what does this have to do with B&O I hear you say? Well it has a CD player which would make my BeoSystem 5500 semi redundant for my living room. I'm thinking I'll move it to my bedroom and put that Mitsubshi system there into storage for a few years (until I eventually upgrade to a bigger place). Of course, this means I'll still need something with a radio, tape and LP - I can run the CD functioned LD into it - for the living room and I was thinking a BC 7000. Similarly, of course, this being BeoWorld I thought I'd open the floor to other suggestions or advice
