I have looked at the oneremote solution, but I want it to be more flexible (I want to define which botten does what) like Lintronic.

As far as i understand, the Lintronic unit require a IR input signal (and then translate it to a non B&O IR signal). When I press DVD in a linkroom, the signal is transmittet via masterlink to my Avant (in the masteroom) and then to the Avants scart socket where it normaly will control a DVD (via the scart cable). I want to be able to control a non-B&O DVD/HDR from a linkroom. A solution could be a DVD-controller or One-remote, but the Lintronic unit is more flexible.

Not sure about your question because it assumes that you want to run a long SCART cable from a link room which you should not do.

Lintronic can control a link room because it has an RS232 interface cable which can link units together.
