You may decide to upgrade it much later in the future though, as there is likely to be a much bigger leap in performance. Liken it to upgrading your computer every time there is a slight increase, just not worth it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As soundproof says, the money would be much better spent on improving other things. In my opinion you cant compare plasma to LCD and yet on a recent television program the best LCDs were at one end of the room and the best plasmas at the other. 30 individuals were asked to stand by the product they liked the best and 80% went with LCD!!!!!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I was amazed! so I am no longer surprised with anything or individual opinions on products. The balcks are very good as indeed are the blacks on the BV9 but there are many issues that make up a good picture its not all about CR and blacklevels.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As an overall package in my opinion the BV9 is streets ahead.&amp;nbsp; One factor is to look at&amp;nbsp; anormal terrestrial broadcast and see what the [panel makes of that.
