It is stated that it works with Beo 4 and Beo 5 without problems. Perhaps you should ask before bying if the Beo 1000 is supported, too.

The box is as small as a cigarette box.

I used it to "copy" my remote controls and generate XML-files for my Beo 5. Now I can control everything(!) that uses an ir-remote with my Beo 5! :-)

Re: How to control non B&O TV with Beolink 1000

Thanks, I want to try and keep the B&O remote if I can I've heard of Lintronic but to be honest I was baffled by their website so didn't look any further.
I use a Logitech Harmony 555 to control everything from one remote. Works well with all of my oddball equipment. Even works with my old Beosystem 5000, which only very few universal remotes can! I haven't yet had a look to see if it'll do the Beosystem 3000 though, but that's packed away in storage at the moment.

Quality of the remote isn't bad, but it's no B&O.

How to control non B&O TV with Beolink 1000

Hi

I have a quick question about controlling a non B&O TV. I have a Beocenter 9000 and a Panasonic HD ready TV, Panasonic DVD Recorder and Sky HD Box. I'm planning on running a RCA Cable from my Sky box for audio but would like to know whats the best way (simplest or cheapest) of being able to operate the TV, DVD and Sky Box with my Beolink 1000. Not sure if this is even possible without spending a fortune?

Any advice grateful please.

Regards

David
