&lt;p&gt;so am i right in thinking that the amp will go downstairs near the 2500 and the 3 pin plugs just go into it and then one powerlink (fully wired 8 pin) goes from the 2500 to the amp? (i have one spare as it running a pair of pentas).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;i have a beocenter 9500 (which i am selling) connected to an mcl xtra speaker kit for my bathroom (built in ceiling speakers) but i have just bought a beosystem 2500 and need a bit of advise on how to connect the two 3 pin mcl plugs to the 2500?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;am i correct in thinking i need an mcl2p? and is there anything else i require?&lt;/p&gt;
