Thank you so much Peter! The guy wants $100 for it (with 2 S45 speakers), but it sounds like I should be patient and buy a working model. I already have a fantastic non- B&O system, but I have lusted after B&O since I saw my cousin's unit in Norway. So, I will continue to search

Well it needs repairing so it rather depends on the price! It sounds as though the protection circuit is tripping so at a guess you need a bag of capacitors and variable resistors replacing. Martin no doubt does a kit for this. It is however a task requiring skill and patience.

Personally I would look elsewhere.

Hello! I am very new to B & O, but I am looking at buying a Beocenter 7000. The problem is, once you power it on, it shuts itself back off. Does anybody know what could be causing this? Should I stay away from this unit? It was built in 1982, and has the S45 speakers with it. Help! :)
