Press the stand by button first. Press SHIFT, MENU. You will get Terminal Set Up? shown on the screen. Press PLAY. You will then get VIDEO TWO WAY shown on the screen. Use the up and down keys to toggle to what you want and then press PLAY to accept. It will then do Audio and press PLAY again to accept. Finally press PLAY one more time to store the changes.

On the repair front, there seem to be a couple of danish members able to undertake repairs. Search in the Workbench area.

Thanks for the directions. I checked the 5000 and both audio and video read two way. I'll check in the work bench are for someone to repair the 7000.

How did you "set the remote up for two-way again", is that a proceedure that needs to be done with the remote?

Can't remember - something like, you need to enter setup on the remote. And set Audio to two way and/or Video to two way.

Anyone remember how to enter setup on BeoLink 5000?

(on Beo4 you press and hold menu and stanby buttons).

What do you mean with programming the lights. Is it programming the timers or the LC1?

The service shop I've used for years (Atlantic) told me the parts the 7000 needs are no longer available to repair it. If you know of someone who can fix the 7000 please let me know. Yes, I use the 7000 and 5000 for programing the timers and assigning light numbers to the LC1s.

I never thought of trying new batteries. Wouldn't that be great if that works. How did you "set the remote up for two-way again", is that a proceedure that needs to be done with the remote?

I think the best you can do is buy replacement remotes, either the 5000 or the 7000, used on ebay or some other source.

New to the forum and I have some questions. Which Beolink remotes have both two way communication plus the ability to program lights via an LC1? I've been doing everything with a Beolink 7000 and 5000 but they stopped having the two way function and I'm told that the parts to repair them are no longer available. I mistakenly bought a MCP 6500, but it doesn't have the abilty to program the lights.
