&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am happy to say that my Beovision 7-55 was finally delivered last week.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Mr.Anders Moller Hansen from Denmark finally responded to my queries.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He requested for a meeting with me but I could not attend to him.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He has dropped into India and personally inspected the functioning of the stores here.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I got a confirmed delivery date first and good follow-up after that.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The product was installed cleanly and I am happy to say that it is an excellent product.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Mr.Anders email is&amp;nbsp;adh@bang-olufsen.dk.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am sure that service in India is bound to improve.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;welcome to the forum; at the outset i am pattabhi&amp;nbsp;from b&amp;#39;bay and&amp;nbsp;cannot agree more with you. recently i had bought a preowned beolab1&amp;nbsp;for which the chasis&amp;nbsp;has to be replaced. my experience was terrible&amp;nbsp;right from&amp;nbsp;invoicing. they got&amp;nbsp;my&amp;nbsp;product serial number wrong, my name in-correct and would respond only on my followup.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;finally&amp;nbsp;when they managed to get&amp;nbsp;quote from denmark and my due approval (~40K inr) they&amp;nbsp;handed over the receipt which was&amp;nbsp;nothing less than (kirana a.k.a. grocery bil - the look and feel of the invoice)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;the sales personnel are a bunch of&amp;nbsp;jokers who&amp;nbsp;have a poor knowledge on&amp;nbsp;products. mind you never ask for a demo in b&amp;#39;bay store as they think it to be a burden on them. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;being tired of them i get in touch with chennai office&amp;nbsp;on querries alternatively singapore orchard road store.&amp;nbsp;(soren there is a nice bloke)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;hope somebody at streur evaluates&amp;nbsp;the dealership in b&amp;#39;bay, delhi and bangalore store as it belong to same person imo &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Like you, I remember writing to B&amp;amp;O a few years ago and telling them the trouble I had with my Avant, and telling them my technical abilities to repair the TV with no dealer around, and the week after I received by UPS a full set of Avant technical &amp;amp; service manuals, plus a B&amp;amp;O audio CD that is now a collector&amp;#39;s item..Great service indeed! &lt;p&gt;I was a fan of Bang-Olufsen far before they commenced their Indian operations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have purchased their products from Germany, Dubai &amp;amp; Singapore then. Their products &amp;amp; service were amazing. My first B&amp;amp;O products had their manuals in German. I was surprised that within a week of sending the companies&amp;#39; headquarters(Denmark) an email, I received a physical copy of the manual in India. Another time, the companies&amp;#39; website pertaining to the wallpapers &amp;amp; screensavers were down. On sending an email to the system administrator about this, I was astounded to receive a HANDWRITTEN letter of apology from the company with a CD containing ALL wallpapers &amp;amp; screensavers of the company. I still have the letter and CD preserved to this day as it represents an apex for how far a company will go to service its customers!!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Recently, I paid for a Beovision 7-55 in India WITHOUT a demo of the model purely on my faith in Bang &amp;amp; Olufsen. I was extremely sad that after the contracted delivery period of four weeks, I did not receive any intimation from the company about delivery. An email sent to Denmark on the 13th did not elicit any response. After this, I called customer service in Denmark on the 2nd of March and was assured that a person would call me immediately. I did not receive any feedback still. I then mailed the companies&amp;#39; MD, Mr.Jakob. Still no reply. I called Denmark again and was told that Mr.Jakob will not provide replies to customer feedback. I was also told curtly that proceeding legally would be my wish without any clarification being made about a solution to the issue(assurance of delivery, customer service....). I have asked for a refund now.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am extremely saddened by this callous attitude by a company that I once held in the highest esteem. For any company selling a luxury product, going out of its way to satisfy a customer is very important. The company seems to have lost its focus now. If anyone has faced a similar experience, let me know.&lt;/p&gt;
