OK - my fault(ish) - you need to go HERE and download the mp3 encoder plugin for Audacity.

Follow instructions to find the encoder the first time it runs and "export to MP3" from Audacity's menu.

(The mp3 bitrate can be changed from Audacitys preferences menu)

Its a radio commentary of Rangers winning the league title in 1986/87 season. After a decade in the wilderness, It was Graeme Souness' 1st season as Gers manager.!

I know about utubes 10 min limit, but had made the clip just under.

A thought has struck me - I think you are limited to a max. clip length of 10 minutes on Youtube!

Ok you can be the stand in stuntman for all of us!

Convert the wav to mp3 (I haven't played with Audacity for some time but I would think that if you open your wav from Audacity there would be a "save as" option to resave it as an mp3).

Next you can try THIS - I never tried it or anything similar, I just came across it in a Google search (upload mp3 to youtube).

As Mika says - youtube is really for video and so the link also needs a still photo to link to the audio.

I believe Youtube really needs your content to be a video clip, that's why you'll always see at least a still image if nothing else. Unfortunately I don't know what kind of easy free solutions there would be for video authoring, but I'm sure someone else does. Also, rudimentary software for stuff like that usually comes bundled with DVD writers, digital cameras, and such.

Ok Guys, i got it onto Audacity , no probs. Thanks to all.

My next question is where can i host the soundclip? I tried youtube but as i converted the cassette to a WAV file Youtube doesnt want to know, probably as its not video??

Its a vintage commentary of a football match on the cassette.!

I did record from Beogram to Beocord 6000 and then headphone out to pc line in.

I've used Audacity to record it.

I then put some pictures in window moviemaker along with the audio.

It's uploaded to youtube.

The song is Danish. Its only aviable on vinyl. My dear uncle were in the Danish grandprix 1979 with this. Other clips are on youtube from that and only a bit of this song so I uploaded it. He did not win.

Leave the one in the middle alone, it is the ground. Then swap the two others to the opposite side pins.

See the pinout for Audio AUX link and ignore the Datalink pins (6 and 7).

I have a b&o din plug to 3.5mm jack plug, but it is configured to play INTO the B&O. I could modify it if i knew what 2 correct pins to use ?
