Even with a record o&lt;span&gt;n the platter the unit flashes uu:uu. Would this be caused by a calibration problem in the weight sensor? &amp;nbsp;Any other ideas as to the cause? I have downloaded the service manual so will try the procedure there for adjusting the weight but would really appreciate a few instructions if anyone is familiar with doing this.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

That&amp;#39;s how the deck senses&lt;br /&gt;what size record is&amp;nbsp;on the platter.&lt;br /&gt;Are the transport safety screws undone ?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The tapedeck belts are available as a set.&lt;br /&gt;It&amp;#39;s not one of the easiest decks to replace belts in but by far&lt;br /&gt;the worst either.&amp;nbsp;Mounting instructions with photos and text (english)&lt;br /&gt;can be included if you need. &lt;/p&gt;

Try with a 7inch and a 12inch record respectively.&lt;br /&gt;Sounds like your Beocenter tape deck needs new belts, I can supply the belts, PM me for details.&lt;/p&gt;
