29001 here, a lovely example with Oak covers. Almost mint!

In the last month or so the alloy buttons have oxidised markedly (we've had a humid summer). Wondering if there is anything in particular I can clean them with??? It's just the tops of them, the sides of the buttons appear fine.

Thanks for that - mine is 30782, so maybe the same year as yours ?

I must upgrade to silver, seems a good thing to do as the user guides and service manuals would be very useful. I have to re-cord my beolit 600 so the diagram would be useful for sure.

It would be great to have a copy of the user manual, if only to make sure i know what all those buttons and knobs do !

The user manual is not on site, though I do have a copy version somewhere. However we do have the service manual, which is a good one! You need to be a silver member. Not sure about the serial number - mine is 32442 for reference!

Hi,

I've been lucky enough to aquire a really nice Beolit 1000, with a black leather case.

Is there any way I can date it from the type number or serial number ?

Are there any features to look for to find out whether it's an early or late model ?

I know they have quite a short production run, ( 1968 - 1972 ) but was curious to know if I could narrow things down a little.

Also are the instruction booklet/user guides still around for this model ?
