The Beoport can only work as an N.MUSIC server if your AudioMaster is N.MUSIC compatible. That is BS3000, BS9000, BS3200, BS4, BC2, with the right software version.

I am currently running a Beosystem 5500 with Xtra speaker kit in another room. I have a large capacity PC running windows media etc and use the tape input on the Bm5500 to play music in both rooms. The obvious restrictions are that I can only control the volume and source in the other room and not tracks from the pc. Would the Beoport system overcome this ? I have read a bit about this system but do not fully understand what it is capable of. Could anybody help ? or is there another way of remotely controlling media files on the PC.

Thanks
