The 2500s can look a bit odd by themselves as from a design point of view they are best attached to a suitable music center - the 3000 for instance. Not sure how you will link active and passives in an ambio system though!

What speakers with my BeoCenter 9500 ?

Hello,

my equipment actually include:

- BeoCenter 9500,

- Beogram CD 4500,

- Beogram 6002,

- Beocord 2200,

- 2 three-way UltraLinear Speakers (California made speakers bought in 1979),

- 2 three-way Grundig Audioprisma HiFi-Box with 2 two-way Grundig HiFi-Box 306 connected on them.

I have recently bought the BeoMaster in replacement of my old BeoMaster 2400. The sound is great (especially the Grundig speakers) but I think it could be even better. I have planned to buy two Pentas and two BO speakers for the ambiophonic sound.

What do you think of the passive Beovox 3000 (1988-1991) and of the active BeoLab 2500?

Best regards.

Pascal
