Hello All

Its been a few weeks since i added my Lab 9's and i still am not sure if i can part with my Lab2

I have it set that when im watching TV the sub is not defined in the speaker roles menu but when i select cinema that speaker is defind.

It is always shown in the connections menu but not defined as a role in cinema mode.

I have been listening to differnet films all day and still cannot workout if i will miss it or not.

Any recomendations for testing?

I dont like music with the lab2 on as it rumbles to much.

I am stuck between a rock and a hardplace, i see mr Anderson has got rid of his Lab2, anyone else kept there's and why???

in BS3 you choose wich speaker you have. So if you dont have/choose BL2 the subsignal goes to front speaker

So there is no "subwoofer off"

Looking good indeed mr anders son.

Your pictures make me eagerly waiting to pair up my BL8000 with the BV10-46" and BL9s, although the latter is still taken in consideration.

I have a pair of BL8000 and I'm considdering getting a pair of BL9 to have them in a same set up. Is this overkill?

In the same set up as in move the BL8000 to the back? Not overkill at all. BL9 for front and BL8000 for back is a great combo.

Ok.. I think Idont need BL2.

I have tested with music and there is no need for that

Movies...hmmm...I don´t think so either..ok I havent test all my 400 DVDs, but anyway

I tested even BL8000 without BL2, and I was pretty suprised that there was so much Bass

But I have never disable BL2 in the menu of BV9

So there is proof that if you have no BL2 the BS3 system pass this to front...nice

I went through the exact same test myself... then took away the Lab2 and sold it.

The BeoLab 9 seem faster with Bass, and although incredibly 'bassy' (especially when watching Blu-Ray) they are less 'boomy' and are 'sharper' in their response. The Lab2 is good, but i found it unnecessary with BeoLab 9.

If you need a BeoLab 2 with BeoLab 5.. ummm... no comment.

If that makes no sense, i understand..
