I have a similiar setup - BS9000 connected to BV7-40 and digital audio to BL5. Spdif is only used when playing CD. In RADIO- or AUX mode sound is via masterlink to BV7-40 and via Powerlink to BL5.

In my setup the AUX out of a BS7000 (located in a linkroom) is connected to AUX in of my BS9000, and I can use it in all my linkrooms without any delays - just the "natural" delay, as the speakers are in different places....

Hope this helps.

Hi All

I am currently considering upgrading my BS3000 to a BS9000, as i have BL5´s and would like the ability to connect them to the digital audio out on BS9000. I have a questions in this matter.

I currently have my BS3000 with AUX connected to an airport express so i can play music in all linkrooms from my macbook pro. This works like a charm with NO delays across rooms. The question is, if i hook up the BS9000 the same way and use AUX, will the main room play through digital or masterlink?(speakers also hooked up with powerlink to BV 7-40), and if digital, will there be any delay in the linkrooms ??

I ask because i often have all linkrooms playing simultaneously when i am having a party, and would like to continue having this opportunity, while ALSO hooking my Bl5´s up digital. Two linkrooms are not separated by a door so it is perfectly possible to hear any even minor delay.

Does the BS9000 only use the digital connection while playing CD´s, as it is not possible to connect anything digital to it??

Thanks in advance.
