&lt;p&gt;You could try a factory re set of the BeoCom2 handset. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;9 # 9 # 9 * int&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This takes you into a menu that you can scroll down to a re set option for the handset&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;the battery was flat so I replaced it. Now I wanted to register it to the base unit (old version) so I chose &amp;#39;settings&amp;#39; in the menu and there should be &amp;#39;advanced settings&amp;#39; and then &amp;#39;register to base&amp;#39; - but the strange thing is that I there is no such point &amp;#39;advanced settings&amp;#39; it&amp;#39;s just not there.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;what should i do now???&lt;/p&gt;
