Thanks guys, this is a very early MX 8000, and i had in mind this might be the case - just a connector but no PCB behind...

I will have a look inside the chassis though!!

But i feel confident that what i'm planning to do will work since i read about that "some" Beocenter will NOT work... -- now hunting for a ML Module :D

Greetings back to La Réunion, too. A cute place to live!!

Indeed you just need to buy a BeoLink converter (my type is 1611, maybe your type would be 1614), with a Masterlink input on one end for MX8000, and a datalink on the other hand for your BeoCenter (connected to the AV/AUX input).

The Masterlink setup is straightforward, there's no menu for that on your MX, simply a configuration process that is done with your remote control , depending on the location of each audio/video device & the way you want to control them.

I'm quite new to this world..

I wonder whether it's possible to connect a MX 8000 to an old Beocenter 9500 with a Audio/AUX - ML Converter (1614)?

Second Question, is the ML Module in the MX 8000 somehow deactivated when not showing up under Options in the Menu - and if yes - how to activate?

Thanks for any helpful hints!

Kind Regards

Egon
