Nope It did not work like that on mine, it only shuts down on time not on. A shame I always get the odd ones when I buy my beo gear, hate the hassle of moving everything back and forth to the store.

I've got the same TV you've got. While I don't have time to test the exact same you do, I did just create two timers:

1. turn off at a time 5 minutes in the future

2. turn on again at a time 10 minutes in the future

Everything worked as programmed. You could program the same thing and check if it works, too. Maybe that helps.

My beovision-6 26" has the timerstart feature in the menu

Problem is when I for example set i to start next morning at 7 in the morning and shut of like 1 hour later it never starts the tv. However, if I during that hour timespan manually turn on the tv, it automatically turns off the tv right on time.

This doesnt do me much convenience as You may guess :)

Any ideas?

I have the old beovision-6 with soft speaker covers

The b&o repair shop told me that they have never ever seen anything like this and have never ever experienced a technical issue due to a electrical component causing this error so I assume I must be doing something wrong :)
