this isn't correct. If you installed a pin-code, it should ask for the pincode after the bs3200 was unplugged from the mains for about 0.5 h.

So if you unplugged it overnight it should ask for a pin-code!

you should also try it with everything unplugged (PL/ML/etc)

Re: Beosound 3200 - help!

Hi tried that, left it unplugged overnight, when I plugged back in this morning it did not ask for a pin code. (I do use the pin code protection). I am trying again for 0.5hr. I will let you know what happens.

Re: Beosound 3200 - help!

it looks like a pin-code error.

do you put a pin-code in the BS3200?

if yes: unplug the system for 0.5 h. re-plug it. enter the pin-code.

Re: Beosound 3200 - help!

Hi Frank, thanks for your reply.
Put all devices to standby.

I cannot switch it on (tried everything). BUT I can play a CD through it using my beolab 3500 which is linked! However, this times out after a couple of minutes & the whole system shuts down.

There is a red & a green light on but no life otherwise. I cannot access any functions on the keyboard.

Resolution tips gratefully received. Thanks, Mark.

The system is a Beosound 3200 + Beolab 6000 speakers + a Beolab 3500 in another room.
