Thanks for your reply!

I didnt see that thread in the forum..but seems to be exactly the same question.

The last post was to check the manual…at least i couldn find anything helpful in neither the BV3 or the Beo4 manual..

So, i will just wait and see if somebody has any ideas on this..or maybe it is not possible to solve..

I have a BV 3 -32 and I am trying to figure out how to store video format 3 on v.mem (v.tape).

When watching TV the BV3 always adjust the picture format correctly and automatically to 16:9 or what is appropriate

I have DVD1 connected which always give the correct video format.
I have a Sagem settop box also connected via scart assigned as DVD2 and it gives the correct video format too.

As v.mem (v.tape) I have a Apple TV connected via scart (using aTVflash to get composite colour) which works perfectly.

But, when choosing v.mem, it alwasy gives me "Format 1" as default. Everytime I have to go to the "list" menu and choose format 3
to get 16:9 format. I have tried to add "V.Setup" to the "List" menu on my BEO4 and through there choose format 3 and "Store" but it doesnt stay there…next time I go back to v.mem (v.tape) after watching TV or DVD ro have had it turned off…the format is back to format1..

I have tried to store it also with my Beolink 1000 but it simply doesnt stay as a new default format..what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance..
