Hi there,

i have heard that the new beovision 10 and 7 don´t work with any Masterlink Converters.That would be strange because i have a lot of "old" stuff linked in my house and i don´t want to keep my first Beosound2500 away.

Does anybody have further informations about this?

Maybe I should give you some details.

I want to connect a Beocenter 2 to a MX6000 and to a Ipod dock from Ridax.

The connections are:Beocenter 2 --> Masterlink --> Converter(1611 or 1614?) --> AudioAuxLink Y Cable --> MX and Dock

Can I control the Dock with my remote?

At the moment the MX and the Dock are connected to my Beocenter 2300 and everything works great.

I'm using a 1611 from Beomaster 6500 to '98 Av9000.

Works great.

have one of each - both work with my ouverture and mx7000 setup

Ralf. I think the newer 1611 can work with MCL items such as Beocenter 2500 etc

Hello, could anyone please explain me the difference between the 1614 and the 1611.

As far as I know exist two different versions of the 1611. Whats the difference between them?
