Failing that you might need a new circuit board. I&amp;#39;ve just had one fitted costing approx &amp;pound;130.&lt;/p&gt;

I bought the Beotalk 1200 privately. When trying to record an announcement I push the middle button to record a message the timer counts while I speak. But when I push it again it flashes 0:00 and there&amp;#39;s a click and a&amp;nbsp; dash (-) appears to the left of the screen for a few seconds before the time and date re-appears. When I call to test, it rings and picks up but no announcement is heard. I leave a message and hang-up but nothing flashes on the Beotalk to suggest a message has been recorded. Any ideas?
