&lt;p&gt;They just don&amp;acute;t give the right power after some time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Me and a few members have changed ours.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Ask your dealer for a spare one, or buy one at your local electronic shop.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Just be sure to get the right polarization and voltage.&lt;/p&gt;

When I pressed &amp;quot;List - PC&amp;quot;, the BV7-40 came up with a blank black screen and hummed gently. I took the usual first step and powered everything off and back on again (BV7-40, BeoCenter 2, BeoMedia). Now when I press &amp;quot;List - PC&amp;quot;, the BV7-40 still comes up with a black screen but now buzzes like a demented hornet. The little green light at the back of the BeoMedia box is blinking permanently. I pressed the sprung button on the back of the BeoMedia but it does nothing.
