Today I received the DVB-S kit I got on ebay (Sattelite Kit Avant BV3_32 DVB-S 1403200) and I installed it in my Beosystem 2 mk3 type 9422 sw 16.2

The DVB-S works fine. However, the board does not fit properly in the chasis.

See my other post about the DVB-S kit

Thanks
Andrei

Re: Beosystem 2 and DVB-T/S (4463)

Hi Erik,

As far as I know the DVB-T Module can also be fitted to a Beosystem 2 as I enquired about it but there was a slight snag, the £500 cost of it.

I think you would be better off using an external DVB -T box.

Is it possible to mount a DVB T/S module (type 4463) in a besystyem 2.

The manual only mention BV3 and Avant, but as far as I understand then does the Beosystem 2 have the same hardware (and software) as a Beovision 3.

Have anybody tried to fit such a module ?
