Recently I fixed the GF&#39;s Philips vacuum cleaner. After having diagnosed a burned motor I was sure the vacuum was a writeoff, but decided to check the spare parts pricing anyway - was quite a bit surprised to get a new motor and a bunch of various fixings, gaskets etc. for 16 euros before taxes.
