I think B&O should invest in a bouquet of flowers and send them around to your wife.

Volvo do that, and my wife loves the car no matter how many times it needs repairs.

apologize for the multiple post...

I told my dealer that I would love to come back to them for other reasons than fixing the phone..

B&O delayed the delivery of my phone for almost a month telling that they are fixing software issues and not ready for customer delivery. so much for trying to make it perfect.

Dont get me wrong, I appreciate the fact that they contacted me first and offered to rectify the problem as well we give a free A8..

I just want the product to work.. I love B&O design and I am afraid the quality problems is leaving me with a bad taste..

She is back to her $50 speaker phone from Walmart..

How come they give free A8s for sw-issues relating to a £500 BeoCom 5, but a £10,000 BV7-40 results in nothing free whatsoever? Many of us across this forum have had BV7-40 sw issues since November 2007.

I have noticed this too, but no word from my dealer, also the MIC has lots of feedback

Trip to the dealer, at £250 per handset i would expect more support

As everything new products almost all the time have problems.

Hey folks,

I was contacted by my dealer today and was advised that they found another quality problem with BeoCom 5 software and they asked mine to be brought to the store end of Jan for the update.. (and get a free A8 for the inconvinence)..

Apprantely they found a sound quality issue with the phone and a software update will fix it.. I seriously think they need to get new software programmers....

Did any of you heard this issue...
