These are nothing fancy nor rare, but the 6V types are usually only available in specialist electronics stores. I was once too lazy to go any farther than the nearest we-have-everything kind of store, got some 3V flashlight bulbs and modified the circuit to have the bulbs connected in series instead of parallel. These will usually have a spherical glass envelope instead of tubular as in correct marker bulbs, but it's not a problem in BM900.

My Beomaster 900K needs illuminating....MES Bulbs?

My Beomaster 900K is still going strong and sounding really good. I have been meaning to put some little bulbs in it, so the tuning display lights up when it is on, but am unsure what bulbs to fit or where to get them from. Could anyone point me in the right direction?? I believe the fitting is a MES type, which is the sort found on old torches etc., but what voltage or watt output??

Can anyone enlighten me! (Sorry that was a dreadful pun....)
