If the mk1 is update with hd-kit or if you buy mk2 the picture quality is very good

on HD channels, Mk3 and 4 has "Full HD" but its no tv channels that use it (and

not to be in years) because to see the different between HD and Full HD you have

to be less then 1 meter from the screen and all the other Standard channels are

so "poore" quality that you probaly sitting 2-4 meters away right?

Conclusition if you find a MK1/2 to right price buy it !

Regards

Tomas

I have 2 Avant RFs in my system at the moment But HD is knocking on the door! And wondered if the MK1s & 2s would do the job properly as the MK 3s & 4s are still to expensive for me.

I am however not on digital broadcasting, still on analogue cable, asthis is the only option in our part of town. The BV7 obviously has an superior signal processor which coverts the analogue signal as efficiently as possible. If you are not on DVB or need HDMI or DVI connections, the MKI or MKII is still a good choice. I was thinking changing my MKI with a MKIV, but after comparing both with an analogue signal, I did not see any reason to change.

Or is the picture quality questionable compared to the newer screens of the last 2 years?

Before I give out what I still consider a lot of money for 1 of the above Id like the Beoworlders opinions.

Thanks in advance Douglas C
