http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/13390/98990.aspx

According to Keith :

To reset the Phonebook, Caller ID, Redial List and all registered
handsets on a Mark I Beocom 6000 (I am assuming that is what you have,
in other words you have a DOT button at the 9 o'clock position of the dial)

Press the DOT placed followed by 70008 and then OK (in the middle of the wheel) to reset the base.
Press the DOT followed by 70009 and OK to reset each single handset.

Cheers,

I've had this b&o beocom 6000 mk1 for about the last five years now and have rarely encountered any major problems with it.

However, i have recently moved house and the beocom might still have the previous houses phone number information either inside the phone or the base.

I tried to connect it through the new houses phone line and it didn't pick up a signal

Why could this be?

Also, do you think the best method is to completely restore the phone and base unit and to re-enter the phone numbers back to the phonebook, or is there a way of accessing the phone currently and changing the house number without the need of reseting it?

Any info will be much appreciated

thanks
