Thanks I have spoken to my dealer and the bv3 28 uses the flash memory to hold the stbc.

Hi,

I would contact your local engineer to acertain what type of stb-c your tv has.

I too have a Beovision 3-28 and the first time I had the stb-c updated the engineer was amazed to find that it was a software update, via a laptop, rather than a chip upgrade. If your BV3 is a software update then the engineer can simply put together a list of your requirements from the complete list of available stb codes.

I had mine updated recently with a selection of UK boxes: Samsung T351, Apple Remote, Microsoft Xbox, BT Vision, Humax HD Freesat, Sky Digital, Pace Sky+, Topfield TF5800PVR, Topfield TF5810PVR, Thomson Sky HD, VirginMedia V+ and Sony Playstation 3.

Going to update my BV3-32 in January as soon as the chips are available at the dealer.

I'll ask them and report here.

Could someone tell me if th latest updates for the stb-c fit the bv3-28?

Would I simply order the chip and install it?
