The only difference between the cabling is for the lights on the eye (I&amp;#39;m using an original eye, but without all pins connected).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;1. Yes, it is in standby when setting the option - it&amp;#39;s the only way to do it I believe.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. The IR receiver doesn&amp;#39;t have the connection for the LED (I use the 3.5mm jack) but it is working well as I can control the system with the remote otherwise.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. It is in the CS menu that I check that the Beosystem 3 is still in V.Opt.1&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. The overture is connected via ML.&lt;/p&gt;

Having tried it both with the ML plug in and out, it defaults to 1 each time - this means I can&amp;#39;t play my Overture in the same room (but works everywhere else). &lt;p&gt;I assume that you have the BeoSystem3 connected to&amp;nbsp; BeoVision4 plasma screen? If so when you option programme the BeoSystem3 does the red led blink to confirm that the command has been accepted?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Have you tried looking in the customer service menu to see what option has been stored?&lt;/p&gt;
