There is what "should" happen and what really does. When I listen to music on my BC2 - BL3 - BL2 combination and the speakers are connected through my BV8 it sounds dull and much clarity is gone. When I connect them direct to the BC2 it matches the performance that I was used to when I ran my BS9000 with these speakers.

i have very similar experiences with bv6. bass is not so deep and tight when connected on back of tv, but when you connect everything on the back of bs3000 - it's tight and clear.

For your observation I would be interested what the entire setup is.

Re: Is the sum of BeoLab 2 + BeoLab 3 better than their single performance ?

The high frequencies should not really change but the midrange should. This could make the speakers sound clearer. The Beolab 3 would no longer have to reproduce the bass notes (at least the lowest ones) so the drive unit will be able to be used more as a midrange unit.

Is the sum of BeoLab 2 + BeoLab 3 better than their single performance ?

I have the feeling that high frequencys of the BL 3 sound clearer if it works together with a BL 2. Can anybody confirm this ?
