Well, the BeoSound 5 is actually a multimedia platform. The video output is DVI, which carries the same video signal as HDMI but without the sound. So if you're looking to download home video that you've recorded in HD, you can do this and store it under PHOTO and view it easily on a B&O television.

The Beosound 5 is a MUSIC system, so why should you look videos on the Besound 5 controller? :-)

If you want a great music system for your home: Go and buy it.

If you want a multimedia videosystem look for another system.

I have sold my beosystem 2 and want to bye Beosound 5.

Should I bye now or wait.

I think the beosound 5 is missing an larger harddisk, hdmi and an video funktion. I have a hd sony cam and it would be nice if I could store the movie at se it on the tv throw the beosound 5.

Does any now something about comming update for the beosound 5 ???
