I can only give you some advice on your second problem:

press TV then AV (maybe you have to add this under LIST, depends on your Beo4 version) followed by CD.

we have an Avant and an Ouverture connected to each other via a Masterlink cable, we play the radio, CD's and Tapes on the Ouverture, and the Avant speakers work well.

However,we have three small problems that would be great clear up with help from the forum :

1) can you listen to a CD via headphones on the Ouverture, while another person is watching TV on the Avant in the same room at the same time ??

2) can you watch just the TV picture on the Avant, but listen to the CD music on the Ouverture ( no headphones this time ) ??

3) the biggest problem of all, I plugged some headphones into the Ouverture ( normal stereo headphones jack into the Ouverture headphones socket at the bottom of the Ouverture ) , and I could not hear anything in the headphones, but the Avant speakers were plyaing the music,

Read the Avant and Ouverture manuals before posting this, and could not find any clues to my problems - HELP
