&lt;p&gt;Could it be that there is no new software downloaded for the&amp;nbsp; Master Link connection print that you have installed? It is absolutely neccessary to update this sw&amp;nbsp;otherwise there are a number of problems such as the one&amp;nbsp;you discribe.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thanks for the info; I have no idea if the correct SW is installed for the masterlink connection. I will check with my dealer; they need to visit me anyhow, so I hope this will fix it.&lt;/p&gt;

I thought it was the BS9000 having problems with the disc, as this is sometimes the case. They didn&amp;#39;t notice, and it continued to play the rest of the evening.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My BS8000 that is connected to a BV8 acts a little strange now and then. When I select a CD to play, it often only plays the first number on that CD and then skips to the next CD. Once in a while it will also play only the first number on that CD and move on the the next CD, but more often it plays that CD properly.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I can not get the problem reproduced every time, therefore this description is somewhat vague.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I operate this set using the Beo5.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anybody any ideas on the root cause and solution?&lt;/p&gt;
