It was just done to see if it works. Now I will make a better cable (using cables shoes <- don't know the word for it).

The Cable on the tv kit side is much better to hide, because you don't need any mcl cable, the cat 5 cable attaches right into the sockets.

Could we have a close-up picture of how the two cables (Ml to Ethernet) were wired with screws of the plastic junction strip/box ?

MCL over Ethernet Cabling - it can be done!

Check this out:

My Beocenter 9300, connected to a MX4000 with Beolab 4500 has gotten some new cabling...

I bougth a XTRA TV Kit on ebay and ran the MCL cable from the BC9300 via my Ethernet cabling to the bedroom where a MX7000 connects via the TV Kit.

This way I can use the Timer of the BC9300 to wake up using the MX7000 playing the radio!

Sure, I need to get the cabling done in a more professional way now, but I first wanted to test it.

I took some picture for those who might be interested.

Ralf

PS: I will get a ethernet splitte/double to add speakers in another room (using a XTRA speaker kit)
