&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp; Think it was &amp;pound;25. Give them a quick call before you make the journey just to make sure they have a battery and they are stil providing the service. It was last year I had it done.&lt;/p&gt;

And now says &amp;ldquo;no contact with base&amp;rdquo; if I take it off the base it just keeps turning itself off and then back on!! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm 0cm 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:small;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm 0cm 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:small;"&gt;Is this a battery fault? If so, I understand the battery can only be changed by an B&amp;amp;O engineer? Does anyone know what this will cost?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

I can&amp;#39;t think of anything else to try. I had a few issues with my BeoCom 2 behaving strangely once - the screen went blank - did as Opman suggests and all was well. Think of it like a hard boot or a master reset etc. Leave it off overnight maybe then set it up as new again the following day. Turn the PSTN base off too. It sounds cliched but it sometimes works and enables the handset to re-connect with the base.&lt;/p&gt;

It was working fine up to around week ago. Then kept flashing with the B&amp;amp;O logo couple of times a day but only when on the stand and now just stopped working, dead!
