There are different versions of the Beolink 1000, and there are differences on which buttons exist. But there is usually always a way to get any function - in this case, you apparently have one of the older models, and "MENU" is selected with SHIFT-TEXT (first press shift, then text).

PLAY still selects, << and >> usually walk from setting to setting and < and > change a value. TV will get you out of the menu if you get lost. Just experiment, you won't be able to break anything

my remote is a beolink 1000 but it doesnt have a menu button???? why would this be?

on link 1000: press [menu], than use the > arrow to move to AV1, than use the v or ^ to change the option, once it is what you like it to be (like Vtape-1 non B&O) press [play] to store.

If you like you can set AV2 in the same way.

Leave the menu with pressing [TV] and if you press [Vtape] it wil switch to AV1 scart on the back.

If you set AV2 to switch to Vtape-2 non B&O in the menu you'll have to press [shift] than [vtape], but of course you can also set it to other options like the svhs input (which is why the menu-options are there...).

ok thanks so i should be able to do it, but how do i get into the menu? and what do i do when i get the menu up?

AV button is for link applications and has nothing to do with the scart sockets.

First you have to program the scarts (called AV1 and AV2 in the menu) for for example v-tape1 and v-tape2 and than you can use then pressing vtape (for vtape1) or shift-vtape (for vtape2) on the link 1000 remote.

hi,

i cant get my AV to work on my beovision3500 does anyone know how i can get it to work?? i've pressed the button but it doesnt seem to do anything, but i have all the AV connections in the rear of my tv.
