Thanks! I will try this at home!

Re: Program BEO4 for a specific system.

From another post:

"If you have a second Beo 4

you can configure it to constant link mode* by doing the following (it will always send LINK prior
to other commands except TEXT):

- press STANDBY and LIST at the same time (display shows ADD?)
- press >> until display shows CONFIG?
- press 2 0 0 2 (display shows LINK ON)
- press EXIT

Repeat the above to set LINK OFF if needed

* Beo 4 must have SW 5.0 or higher"

Re: Program BEO4 for a specific system.

The BC2 can be set in Option 4 I think, and therefore would react to LINK codes only.

So you'd press LINK Radio for the BC2 Radio.

I also beleive that it can be set as Option 0, and then only work as a DVD player.

Re: Program BEO4 for a specific system.

Hi,

I doubt that it is possible, but if it were possible I'd be happy! I have a Beocenter 9500 in my living room, along with my BC2. When I turn on the radio with the remote, both radios go on, which although a bit of "luxury problem" still is bothering me!

Program BEO4 for a specific system.

Hi!

I have a Beocenter 2500 in the kitchen and a Beocenter 2300 in the living room. Also have separate remote controls for them.

BUT, the problem is that because the kitchen is next to the living room some times the stereo in the living room starts when i start the stereo in the kitchen and the other way around.

My question is, can i program one BEO4 for one system and the other BEO4 for the other system so it wont work for both systems?

Best regards
