I have always thought the BV6 makes a very compact satellite TV / link room speaker arrangement

Are there second hand ones near you ?

Thanks again Keith - if it's not plain sailing, I think I'll abandon the idea of tapping the RF in the spare room and just wire in the masterlink. It was only for completeness:

I have no B&O kit in that room as yet, and my future plan is to put a Beolink Active and a pair of speakers in - I don't think there's enough room for me to put a TV in there, so I doubt I'll ever bother.

The total distance of Masterlink cable can be up to 185 metres.

When it comes to the 75 ohm RF video cable the story is totally different because the key is "impedance matching"

If the cable lengths between rooms are quite short you may get away with tapping into the cable, but there will be signal quality loss.

To ensure perfect analogue picture quality you should use a good distribution amplifier like B&O's HERE and/or a good quality splitter as shown below which will ensure good impedance matching.

Thanks Keith. I think I already knew this part, so I should have been a little clearer. I understand I can daisy chain the masterlink without issue, but using this dual masterlink/antenna cable - can I daisy chain the RF signal? Or will I run into problems? The total distance isn't that large, so I'm hoping that I wont!

If I can do this, do the Bosscom RF/Masterlink wall sockets allow enough space for connecting two cables at once?

You can connect Masterlink in series as you wish to do or in a star configuration or a mixture of both.

In your situation just daisychain the masterlink from one room to the next

Just to drag this thread up from the dead...

I have a flat with 3 rooms. I want to link the main room and my bedroom, but thought I'd wire up the spare room while I was at it. To get to the bedroom, the easiest way may be to go through the spare room first.

With this cable and some of the Bosscom wallplates, would it be possible to connect these 'serially' - i.e.:

Main Room ----------- Spare Room ---------- Bedroom

Or do I have to run two lengths of this?

There is nothing wrong with the quality of Bosscoms products, but they are not very reliable! Make sure to count the products in your order!

Actually, Bosscom provide some products to B&O and they are a wholesale distributor, so it is unlikely they will sell products in low volumes.

Of course they say that! They don't make money by recommending alternative makes of their cables. Bosscom's quality is just fine with my experience and also with comments on the forum in the past.
