Why would any one use the beomedia software? It's much more cumbersome.

Best regards,

Peter

Re: Starting over with Beomedia.

Yes it will update automatically. In fact I find it easier to put media onto beomedia 1 by drag and drop. Then on my PC i use windows media player 9 (not 10 as it dosnt work properly with bm1) and set my library to the bm1 file share. By the way you can store lossless files on the bm1 by using windows media player as beoplayer will not rip to lossless.

Cheers

Peter

Re: Starting over with Beomedia.

Great, I thought so, but will this automatically update everything in the Beomedia menu on the TV screen?

Re: Starting over with Beomedia.

Assuming your computer is on the same network as the beomedia (and you are using a windows pc) in windows explorer / my computer you should see a network drive for the beomedia1 with 4 folders, favorites, music, photos and system. You can drag and drop files or remove what you dont want directly from there.

Regards

Peter

Starting over with Beomedia.

Since last week i'm the happy owner of a Beomedia1 and started putting music onto it. I've scanned my hard disk and started copying by Alfabet. After I've loaded A, B and C, some 3000 tracks, I noticed that I didn't do a good enough job in deleting stuff I don't want on there anyway. I've edited my hard disk now and scanned again. I've deleted, what I thought, most of the tracks of the Beomedia. As this takes time I've let it run overnight. This morning I find that it automatically copied everything back to the media player and that all album names are still in there.

My question, is there any way I can delete all contents of imusic on the beomedia in one go. Either in the service menu or via windows on the PC??
