The signal levels are the same, so you won't be missing anything when you use TAPE2.

I have missed that totally.. We have the Beocenter connected to a Beovision avant through this "converter thingy" which is plugged into TV/AUX.

Guess it'll be TAPE2 then..

Well, how about the connector marked "TV/AUX", smack in the middle?

If it doesn't work simply selecting "AUX" from the panel, there's some other problem with your setup. On a Beolink 1000, you select it with SHIFT-RADIO. If you don't have any B&O video equipment, you could program the Beocenter to option 2, and then you can select AUX simply with TV.

(The MIC input is selected using AUX-8, but you can't use it - firstly, it's mono, and secondly, the signal levels are all wrong. Phono is unsuitable as well, since it has the RIAA preamplifier in the way)

Dear Lovers,

I've purchased a cable to connect an Ipod to the Beocenter.

I now use it through the Tape2 input and it works fine.

And that's because I can't locate the Aux input.

Is it.. is it.. It is the Mic input at the front, isn't it?

Btw, is there any difference by connecting either to Phono or Tape2 input? (Yeah, yeah, I feel the response coming but of course mean; other then pushing phono or tape2..LOL)
