My joy at finally getting a pair of these speakers was short lived though. They appear to have two faults that I’m hoping someone can assist me with.

A crackling popping sound comes from the drivers of one of the speakers when turned on. The volume of this noise is pretty much constant ie. Does not get louder if I turn up the volume or stop if I pause the source being played. The other speaker does not make this noise. Have swapped the cables around and tried different powerlink sockets. Still same issue.

Display on other speaker not working – just blank. Have checked that the switch at the bottom is set to audio.
