You need a RIAA pre amp between the deck and the Ouverture!!

Try the Sounds Heavenly advert at the bottom of the page. The boss is Steve and he can help with the pre amp and any cables you will need.

Ouverture & Technics turntable?

Hi,

I'm trying to connect my Technics 1210 to my Ouverture and so far I've bought a 2xRCA to 5-pin mini din convertor, connected everything up, and although I can get sound I have to have the volume very high (70+) and doing so causes a lot of hissing from the speakers which is just about audible over the music. Obviously I've gone for the very simplist approach of plugging everything together and hoping it works, so has anyone got a more sensible approach and can advise what I should have done / am doing wrong?
