Ask the dealer to check the part code. Then see if it can be upgraded and that its suitable for your linked system. They shipped from November 2008 - Feb 2009 I think but dealers probably still sold the earlier edition...

SW 2.0 allows for limited masterlink connection, what ever that means. You still need an RF cable if you wish to link video. SW 2.0 does not work with beolink Video for older TV's like my MX 7000 which is where I stopped asking questions and started cabling. The Avant as a linked TV I am not sure of....

I think the wireless is only for having remote speakers to an audio master.

Is this how you have the setup wired ?

Link Room problem

I have had a pair of BL4000's set up with Wireless unit in a link room and they have worked well. Recently I moved an Avant into Link Room and now have the Wireless unit connected to the Avant with Masterlink and the BL4000's connected to the Avant. I cannot get any of the sources (BV8 - Master or BC2) from the main room to play in the link room. Maybe I m not operating it properly.

Any help would be appreciated.
